- Bumbleride Indie Stroller : If ever there was an eco-friendly, sustainable stroller, it was the Bumbleride. Made from 100% recycled PET, Bumbleride has kept over half a million water bottles out of landfills since 2011. To color their fabrics, they also use an innovative solution-dye process that conserves approximately 25-40 gallons of water per stroller. And if that weren’t enough, their strollers are PVC & phthalate free, made without fire retardants or polyurethane foam, and their fabrics are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class I certified to be free from harmful chemicals. Plus, the Indie has air-filled tires and a UPF 45+ canopy. We got this stroller to use around our neighborhood (more like a jogging stroller) as it’s a bit more heavy-duty than the UPPAbaby, but a super smooth ride nonetheless.
