How to recycle your Bumbleride stroller or Bumbleride Packaging:

1. Research which materials are recyclable at your curbside pickup and local waste center.
   
   
2. Return your poly bags to your nearest location here.
   
   
3. Bumbleride's frame is made mostly of aluminum. Contact your local scrap metal recycling operator to see if they accept aluminum with rivets and PE (polyethylene) plastic parts attached.  If removing Bumbleride rivets, safely and slowly drill the end of the rivet off with a 3/16 bit and power drill in an environment away from children. The PE parts on our frame are not recommended for recycling due to their glass fiber content (for strength).
   
   
4. What can't be reused, redeemed or recycled, please place in your trash bin. 
   

We're working hard to increase the percentage of curbside recyclable packaging, eliminate our use of poly bags and look forward to sharing more details soon.Bumbleride Materials Breakdown:

The serial number and Date of Manufacture of your Bumbleride is located on a white, rectangular sticker affixed to the frame. You will notice a series of numbers on this sticker. The serial number is the number that begins with “S”. 

For 2016-2019 models, the sticker is located on the inside edge of the folding hinge. The best way to view the sticker is to fold the stroller and lean upright using the handle to prop up (may have to adjust angle for prop). Push fabric slightly away from folding hinge's inside edge to reveal Date of Manufacture sticker.

For pre-2016 Indie, inspect the side of your frame on the black plastic near where the seat plate and rear leg meet, a white sticker can be found there.

For pre-2016 Indie Twin, inspect the underside of the center handle support bar or the brake assembly bar.

Era has a very compact fold. First, make sure the seat is in the forward facing position. Next, you fold the seat with the grey triggers located on either side of the seat near the hinge. Finally, you pull the grey handle triggers to fold the stroller chassis ensuring that the front wheels are in the outward facing position. Although it is possible to fold Era in the parent facing position it is not recommended because of the seat orientation and could damage the stroller.

Compatible car seats include: Clek Liing, Maxi Cosi Coral XP, Maxi Cosi Mico Max 30, Maxi Cosi Mico AP, Nuna Pipa, Nuna Pipa Lite, Nuna Pipa Lite LX, Cybex Aton, Cybex Aton 2, Cybex Aton Q, Graco Click Connect Snugride 30 and 35, Chicco Keyfit 30, Peg Perego NIDO and Peg Perego 4-35. Era has two built-in attachment locations, the upper "hotshoe" for the seat and the lower "hotshoe" for the Bassinet and Era Car Seat Adapter. Both hotshoes are located at the center of the frame, one above the other. Attach your seat to the top "hotshoe". Attach your Bassinet or Adapters to the lower "hotshoe".

Indie is a 3 wheel all terrain stroller with a fixed forward facing seat and is suitable for all surfaces and light jogging with the front wheel in the locked position. Era is a 4 wheel city stroller with all terrain capabilities due to it's air filled tires like Indie, but is not recommended for jogging. Era features a reversible seat that is easily removable to create a frame carrier for either a Bassinet or Infant Car Seat, making it a non-toxic travel system when paired with a Clek Liing Infant Seat.

There is not a Bumbleride compatible snack tray for Era at this time. Bumbleride Snack Packs are not compatible with Era.

The height from ground to bottom of seat in parent or forward facing mode is 20.5" (52 cm).

Yes, the 2016-2019 Single Stroller Bassinetis compatible with Era. Make sure to attach it to the lower "hotshoe" adapter on center of frame. The upper adapter is for the seat only.

The Era cargo basket weight capacity is 10 lbs. (4.5 kgs.).

Yes, a Car Seat Adapter is required to connect an Infant Car Seat to Era. These adapters click directly onto the lower seat "hotshoe" of the center of the Era frame (upper "hotshoe" for Reversible Seat only).

All Bumbleride fabric is composed of a breathable nylon blend for long lasting, color-safe wear. The seat fabric is removable and machine washable in cold water on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent (Instructions for seat fabric removal below). For tough spots we recommend pre-treating with Oxiclean or another bleach alternative. For 2015 models and older, due to the canopy’s frame construction, we recommend that the canopy is spot washed. 2016 - Current model canopy fabric can be removed and machine washed using same instructions as the seat fabric. Please note that all Bumbleride fabric should be air or line dried. Do not machine dry any Bumbleride fabric.

Seat Removal Instructions: To undo the backrest adjuster buckle/s, make sure child is out and away from stroller, undo the side snaps of the seat fabric near the adjuster belt. Once the strap and buckle is exposed, adjust the backrest flat to create slack in the belt. Next, turn the strap sideways within the small metal buckle and thread out of the small opening. To reattach, re-thread strap through backrest, through seat fabric tab, back around handle, and thread back through buckle. Please be sure to slide out and remove the white vinyl backing in the seat through the top Velcro opening. The backrest vinyl board cannot be machine washed.

To remove rust, we recommend these resources:

• Try rubbing with distilled white vinegar on a microfiber sponge or towel. Wipe away to dry and clean.
• Create a paste with lemon juice and baking soda, rub gently on rust to remove. Wipe and dry.
• Try cutting a potato in half and salt or baking soda to the open half and rub on rust. Wipe away to clean and dry.

• Spray a little WD-40 and wipe with a Mr. Clean magic eraser sponge (any microfiber sponge or towel can replace). Be gentle with sponge on polished surfaces, https://youtu.be/LifkTTAlFSc.

Make sure to always wipe down your stroller frame after getting it completely soaked or saturated and set outside to air dry entirely before storing. Never store outdoors when possible as dew or ocean air can cause rust. If you live in an area with salted roads, make sure to wipe down wheels and lower frame when possible or after long outings.

First, remove the stem cap from inner tube. Next, pinch the tire with one hand behind the stem to push the stem outward. With your other hand, place the head of the pump on the stem as much as possible. Next,  lightly bend the stem away from the spokes while keeping the pump on so the lever on the pump can be lifted. This will create an air lock. Pump until the tire is quite firm to the squeeze but not basketball/ rock hard. If you don’t hear and feel air going in the tire, try re-attaching. We recommend 25-30 psi not the 35 psi on the sidewall of tire. The Bumbleride Indie, Indie 4 (rear wheel only), Indie Twin, and Queen B all use 12″ air inflated tires.

Please remember that if you are jogging with your stroller the front wheel/s need to be locked. If you are going at a fast pace with the front wheels unlocked the front of the stroller will vibrate.

While it's possible there are other reasons the front wheel might shake it's most often related to a loose front fork. You can easily tighten the front fork from home:

Step one:
Locate the Allen key (1/16 inch) that came with the stroller to remove the screws on the hexagon shaped cap

Step two:
Once you have removed the cap and small screws you will see a bolt with a nut attached on top. Use an 18 mm socket wrench to tighten the fork nut.

** This will take some adjusting- if you tighten it too much the wheel may be hard to turn but if it is too loose then the wheel will shake. You will need to adjust it and push the stroller a few times to get it right.

** When you are done adjusting the fork and are putting the hexagon shaped cap back on the stroller please do not tighten the small screws too tight. You may need to access this part again and tightening the screws too much can result in stripping them making it impossible to access the fork nut.

Yes, we do offer replacement fabric sets for strollers however, color and quantity may be limited. Please check our replacement part section on the website Replacement Parts for current availability. If a color isn't available to order then it means we do not have it. You can sign up here to receive notifications when more fabric sets are scheduled to come into stock. 

We no longer have fabric sets for Rocket, Flyer, Queen B, and any models older than 2007 available. 

We recommend purchasing a piece of “Natural Rubber Pickup” or “Rubber Cement Pickup” or “Crepe Rubber Cement Pickup” which removes dirt and debris from grip tape when rubbed against it.

Bumbleride currently utilizes 5 repair facilities in the US and two repair facilities in Canada. Please see below for their respective contact information. Please also note that every stroller being sent to a repair facility must be labeled with a Bumbleride RMA number. Please contact a Bumbleride representative before sending your stroller in to a repair facility to obtain an authorized RMA number.

When standing behind your Bumbleride, locate a small, dime sized knob extending from the right or left side of the handle bar. Your cup holder will have a circular cut-out that will lock onto this knob and swivel when needed.

Undo the Velcro on the included wrist strap which was packaged with your other included accessories and insert one side into the wrist strap holder on the center of the handle. Once one side it attached, close the strap using the Velcro. If using the original jogging strap that came with Indie or Indie Twin, lie the strap with equal lengths over the handle and select one side to pull through the other side’s loop and pull taught. Your jogging strap is not attached and ready.

We want you to love your new Bumbleride product, but if for some reason you need to return it there are a few guidelines we ask you to keep in mind:

We offer free returns on strollers and accessories over $100 (no free returns on parts orders or accessories under $100.00) ordered from Bumbleride.com for a period of 30 days from the time of purchase as long as the product is in new condition with all packaging materials included excluding customers in Hawaii and Alaska. The stroller can be opened and used inside a home but cannot be used outside. The customer is responsible for shipping charges when returning replacement parts. 

Items may be opened, however, returns must be new, unused and in their original packaging including all accessories and operating manuals. Missing packaging, accessories or operating manuals will void a return.

Only customers who have purchased from Bumbleride.com are eligible for a return under these guidelines. All other customers must contact the vendor from which they purchased the product. We are unable to process any returns, exchanges, credits or refunds for any product purchased outside of Bumbleride.com.

If you are interested in returning your stroller, accessory, or replacement part you should message us.

Once we receive your return we will review the package and offer a refund of the amount paid for the stroller, accessory, or replacement part. We do not offer refunds on shipping fees. The credit will process to your original form of payment in 7-10 days.

We want to get your order out as soon as possible, so in order to do this it starts processing right away. If something is incorrect on your order or you need to cancel it, please contact us here and we will get back to you as soon as we can. We are unable to guarantee any changes or cancellations can be made but we will do our best to accommodate any requests. If you are trying to reach us over the weekend, please note our offices are closed Saturday and Sunday. We will respond to your request on Monday.

Most in–stock items ship within 24 hours of ordering; however, some orders may take up to 48 hours to process. Please note that we do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or US holidays. For orders placed on weekends or holidays, orders will begin processing the next business day.

Domestic Orders (USA)

Standard Ground orders placed on a weekday before 12:00 a.m. (PST) will begin processing the next business day. Expedited orders placed before 10:00 a.m. (PST) will begin processing the same business day.

Bumbleride offers FedEx Ground and FedEx 2Day delivery for all standard orders shipped within the United States. All standard orders are shipped from our location in Mira Loma, California.

Upon leaving our warehouse, Ground shipments can take anywhere from 1 – 5 days, depending on your proximity to Mira Loma, CA.

For time sensitive, guaranteed date delivery, please choose 2Day delivery. Upon shipment, FedEx 2Day packages will arrive by the end of the second business day.

Please note: We do not offer Saturday delivery. Unfortunately, our carriers are unable to deliver to APO/FPO addresses or P.O. boxes at this time. Please contact our customer service department for additional information.

Some replacement parts are shipped via UPS and USPS from our headquarters in San Diego, California and can take anywhere from 1-5 days depending on your proximity to San Diego, California.

At this time we do not offer Saturday or expedited shipping options. Free Shipping is not available to Puerto Rico or AK. Orders shipping to Hawaii will qualify for free shipping if the order is over $250.00.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

Most damage to products occurs due to rough handling during transit. We will not be held responsible for breakage, damage or loss of merchandise while in transit. All transport companies require damage/missing claims to be reported immediately (within 5 days of receipt) of the damaged shipments. To accomplish this, call us immediately (within those 5 days of receipt of damaged shipments), we will initiate a claim with the transport company on your behalf.
