We had a great time cleaning up Maruta Gardner Park in Mission Beach and leaving the playground, park and beach cleaner than we found them! The cleanup resulted in 8 lbs. of trash that would have ended up in the surrounding bay or ocean. Join local parents on Thursday, August 26th from 10am-12pm, for an opportunity to show our future generations how we care for our beaches with a socially distanced beach cleanup. Buckets, reusable work gloves, hand sanitizer and trash grabbers will be provided. Please feel free to bring your own! Look for the Bumbleride pop up tent near Lifeguard Tower #4. Closest parking lot is the Ocean Beach Dog Beach Parking Lot off of W. Point Loma Blvd, https://oceanbeachsandiego.com/.../dog-beach-public-parking.
