Cabrillo Sunset 5k Recap

The Cabrillo Sunset 5k was good for the soul! We sponsored the 5k race along with other local businesses in our community. Team Bumbleride consisted of staff and family with our kids ranging from age 2 to 16 joining in to run/walk. The venue was picturesque and we definitely conquered the steep hill up from the tidepools with strollers and toddlers in tow.

Cabrillo National Monument located Point Loma, CA is San Diego’s only National Park. This beautiful National Park is Bumbleride’s neighbor and our contributions and participation in this race support many incredible programs that we value, including science and education for underprivileged kids.

The location offers expansive views of both San Diego’s harbor and skyline on one side and the open ocean on the other. It is a spectacular view from up there! Bumbleride sponsored their Sunrise 5k back in February of 2019 and when offered a sponsorship opportunity for the Sunrise 5k, we jumped at the chance. We love to support our local community, encourage the outdoors and be in the fresh air with family.
