It was an especially chilly San Diego morning on February 9, 2019! Our Bumbleride team was up super early before the sunrise in Point Loma, CA to head up to San Diego’s only national park, Cabrillo National Monument for the Sunrise 5k. We love sponsoring local events where we can be outside exploring with our families while also giving back to our local community.  This particular sponsorship helps provide science and education for underprivileged kids, a subject near and dear to our hearts.

Bumbleride Event Tent

We set up camp and did some pre-run stretching and yoga, fueled up on hot coffee and took off on the picturesque route along the Pacific Ocean. The crisp air and expansive ocean views were amazing and it was fun to be at the park before the hours it is typically open to the public.

Stroller 5k
Little Miss Savvy, the 1-year-old daughter of Ryan on our marketing team, was all bundled up and loving the fresh air, snacks and terrain.

Cabrillo Sunrise 5k Finish Line

What a fun 5k! We crossed the finish line and went back to our booth to help answer questions about Bumbleride from local families. It was an intimate event that we loved being a part of. We can’t wait to sponsor the next Sunset 5k coming up on Saturday, July 20th, 2019! Join us!
