Behind the Designs - Meet our Product Designer, Michael

With a background of 20+ years in bicycle design and 12 years at Bumbleride, his design approach is simple: Durability is Sustainability.

His idea is any good vehicle is based on a well crafted frame. We use 6061 aluminum alloy, its light, easy machine welded and doesn't corrode.

We use air-filled tires for a smoother ride for your tiny passenger and a smoother push for you. Combined with our all-wheel suspension, nothing beats air-filled tires when handling difficult terrain or just the normal wear and tear your stroller gets on a daily basis.

All of our plastic components are injection molded and use up to 50% upcycled nylon sea nets. Through a rigorous manufacturing process the nets are transformed into recycled plastic materials pellets with the result being a form of modified plastic that can be applied to numerous uses, including our stroller parts.

Just as important as the molded components and the frame is the fabrics. For the exterior fabric we use a durable 600D recycled polyester. For the interior we use a soft 150D and both with a color fastness rating of 5 to prevent fading. Our fabrics are PFAS-free durable water repellent to prevent from water and spills damaging the fabric.

Our handle bar features a cork handle grip, co-molded onto the handle bar. Cork is a naturally sustainable material, waterproof, anti-fungal and hypoallergenic.

Materials matter. When focusing on durability we use the very best for you and your baby's comfort all while doing our best to preserve the planet we all share. The most sustainable stroller is the one that keeps going through everyday use, real family life, and years of adventures. When a product is made to last, it gets replaced less, wasted less, and trusted more. That has always mattered to us.
